On Saturday night, the men's and women's basketball programs will host International Night as they take on Northwood in a conference doubleheader in the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena. The games will begin at 6:00 pm and will be webcast on GVSULakers.com through our official YouTube channel. You can also catch the action on the radio by listening to DJ Foster on WTKG 1230 AM, with the men's game also being on WMUS 107.9 FM.

The women's team will wear special white Adidas uniforms that will have "Lakers" written on the back of the jersey in different languages (as pictured above). The men will don pregame warm ups with an international look and feel.

To mark the event, the Lakers have teamed up with GVSU's Padnos International Center to bring a new experience to the games. There will be a special public address announcer that will provide a Swedish translation throughout the night. The PIC will be at the games to provide fans with information about the study abroad programs and how to connect to a Global GVSU program. There will also be international themed promotions during the games.
