FanFest returns for its second year to kickoff the 2010 football season. FanFest will be taking place Thursday, August 26th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the Laker Turf Building giving Laker football fans a unique opportunity to meet and greet with the GVSU football team and coaching staff. It is an event that allows Laker fans to interact with the coaches and players, take pictures, receive autographs, and some free giveaways.

The second annual FanFest will provide fans, students and community the chance to meet and greet with the 2010 Laker football team for the first time. The event is filled with fun activities, experiencing football with Laker players. Uccello's will also be on hand with free food sampling.

FanFest is not only for football fans, as the Laker women's volleyball team will also be in attendance. The volleyball players will be on-hand for autographs and a special giveaway.

The event will also offer students their first chance to get tickets to the home opener against West Texas A&M on Sept. 2 at 8:00 pm. FanFest is open to everyone and is FREE to attend. Call 616-331-8630 for more information.
