GVSU Athletics is taking steps to be more sustainable and will be going paperless with the GVSPORTS Monthly Magazine publication. After three years of being available on newsstands around the community and being delivered to Allendale residents in the Advance newspaper; the magazine will be moving to an expanded online based distribution.

Grand Valley State University has become a leader in Sustainability initiatives receiving numerous accolades including national merit recognition in the Sustainable Endowment Institute's 2010 Campus Sustainability Report Card. GVSU Athletics will be joining the cause by taking GVSports Monthly Magazine online with its distribution.

The magazine will still offer great inside news on Laker athletics each month. Along with the switch to being paperless, the magazine will also see a greatly expanded distribution through social media and Laker Alert emails. GVSports will also be shared on the GVSU Lakers Facebook fan page. In addition to email and Facebook, GVSports Monthly Magazine will be available all month on gvsulakers.com.
