Grand Valley State senior Mandi Zemba earned her second GLIAC Women's Runner of the Week award this season as she won the 2005 GLIAC Championship. She finished the 6,000 meter course in a time of 22:14 and helped the Lakers win their fifth consecutive GLIAC title, tallying just 23 points. Mandi was also named the GLIAC Women's Runner of the Year for her outstanding performance.

Grand Valley State will look to defend its Great Lakes Regional Championship title in Big Rapids, Mich. on Nov. 5. The Laker women have won the title four straight times.
