Natalie Ewing was named the GLIAC Runner of the Week for helping Grand Valley to an eighth place finish at the Nike Race of Champions in Cary, North Carolina. Ewing finished 31st overall and first for the Lakers with a time of 18:50. GVSU was the only non-Division I team invited to the race.

Grand Valley will have this weekend off before hosting the Michigan Intercollegiate Championships next Friday at Rolling Hills Golf Course in Hudsonville, Mich.
