The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced Thursday that Grand Valley State and 91 other women's programs are Division II All-Academic Teams for the 2006 cross country season.

For schools to qualify as an All-Academic Team, the student-athletes on their NCAA eligibility list must have a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher. As a team, Grand Valley tallied a 3.64 GPA. Adams State won the All-Academic Women's CC Team of the Year award as it captured the NCAA DII National Championship title in the fall.

Grand Valley also earned this honor a season ago.
