Aderman's time of 21:06 is the second fastest in the school's history. The top four times from the GVSU women are four of the top seven fastest times in the school's history.

"I am very proud of our women and the race they put together. These women keep getting better and better every time they step on the course," said head coach Jerry Baltes.

"It is exciting to see our seniors win the sixth straight title. They have put a lot of time into making this happen and I am thankful for everything they have done for the program," Baltes added.

"We do know we need to continue to get a little better the next four weeks to put ourselves in the best position possible come November 18th," said Baltes. "We are excited to go to Parkside in two weeks and defend our regional title."

Grand Valley State will look to defend its Great Lakes Regional Championship title in Kenosha, Wis. on Nov. 4. The Laker women have won the title five straight times.
