2004: Redshirted the cross country season.

2003: Egan was the GLIAC Championships runner up with a 6K time of 21:53.4 and finished third at the NCAA Regional meet at Grand Valley's home course in a 6K time of 21:49. Egan earned her second All-American title at the NCAA National meet in Cary, North Carolina after finishing 21st with a time of 22:20.

High School: Egan was MVP of her team three years in a row and was two-time All-State in cross country. Egan recorded personal best times of 5:09 in the 1600 and 11:30 in the 3200. She served as student body treasurer and graduated with Highest Honors and Indiana's Honors Diploma.

Personal: Kara Egan was born in South Bend, Indiana. Kara is the daughter of Chris and Gayle Egan and is currently studying Exercise and Biomedical Sciences at Grand Valley State.
