Senior middle blocker Tracy Kirk was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) 25th annual All-American Team. Kirk earned All-American First Team honors as she has led the Lakers to the NCAA DII National Championships for the third time in her career.

Kirk is averaging 4.00 kills, 1.09 blocks, 0.57 digs, and 0.31 assists per game, while recording a team-leading .386 hitting percentage. Her hitting percentage ranks first on GVSU's all-time single-season list.

Tracy was named to the AVCA All-Great Lakes Region First Team, Daktronics Great Lakes Region First Team, Great Lakes Region All-Tournament Team, GLIAC First Team, and GLIAC Tournament MVP this season. Last season, Kirk earned AVCA All-American Honorable Mention honors.

The Lakers (29-6) will play Dowling College in the quarterfinals of the NCAA DII National Championships on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 12:00 p.m. CT.
