Allendale, Mich. - After capturing the program's fifth GLIAC Tournament Championship on Sunday (Nov. 16), the #4 Grand Valley State Lakers learned they will host the Midwest Regional Tournament this weekend (Nov. 21-23) at GVSU Fieldhouse Arena. Grand Valley State is the top seed in the region and will host Northwood on Friday (Nov. 21) in an opening round contest.

Here are the first-round match-ups in the Great Lakes Regional Tournament:

Match 1 - #3 Lewis vs. #6 Northern Kentucky, 12:00 p.m.

Match 2 - #2 Saginaw Valley State vs. #7 Michigan Tech, 2:30 p.m.

Match 3 - #4 Indianapolis vs. #5 Northern Michigan, 5:00 p.m.

Match 4 - #1 Grand Valley State vs. #8 Northwood, 7:30 p.m.

In all matches for the tournament, the home team will be the highest seed. The winners of Match 1 and Match 2 will play in the regional semifinals at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, while the winners of Match 3 and Match 4 will play at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The Midwest Regional Championship match will be played at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23.
