Four Volleyball Lakers Earn All-GLIAC Honors
 

 
 
 

 
Junior middle blocker Tracy Kirk earned All-GLIAC First Team honors as she has tallied 3.57 kills, 0.92 blocks, and a .339 attack percentage this season.

Grand Valley State had four Lakers named to the 2004 All-GLIAC Volleyball teams. The Lakers are 26-5 overall and finished with a first place, 16-2 GLIAC record. GVSU will play for the 2004 GLIAC Tournament Championship on Sunday, Nov. 14 at 5:00 p.m. against archrival Ferris State.

Junior middle blocker Tracy Kirk earned All-GLIAC First Team honors as she has tallied 3.57 kills, 0.92 blocks, and a .339 attack percentage this season. Kirk was on the All-GLIAC Second Team and GLIAC Tournament Team last season. Sophomore outisde hitter Megan Helsen was also named to the All-GLIAC First Team for averaging 2.68 kills and 3.06 digs per game. She also leads the Lakers with 56 services and has two solo and 34 assisted blocks.

Junior middle blocker Lauren Hanson earned All-GLIAC Second Team plaudits for the Lakers. She ranks second on the team with a .326 hitting percentage and is averaging 2.91 kills per game. Hanson leads the team with 12 solo and 96 assisted blocks for an average of 0.99 blocks per game.

Senior outside hitter Stephanie Maciasz-Dow earned her second consecutive All-GLIAC Honorable Mention honors this season. She is averaging 2.88 kills per game and has posted 45 assisted blocks on the season.
