Lakers To Host First Round GLIAC Action Wednesday

Grand Valley State's volleyball team will host first round action of the GLIAC Tournament on Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena. The Lakers are seeded #1 in the North Division and will host #4-seeded Michigan Tech. GVSU is 24-5 overall and 16-2 in GLIAC play, while Michigan Tech is 11-19 and 8-10 in the GLIAC.

The two teams have matched up twice this season, splitting the series 1-1. The Lakers won the first meeting, 3-0, in Houghton, Mich., while the Huskies swept, 3-0, at the Volley Bash last Saturday at Ann Arbor High School. GVSU leads the overall series by a 39-14 margin.
