#18 Grand Valley State concluded the GLIAC regular season with 15-3 record, topping the GLIAC North Division. GVSU earned the #1-seed in the GLIAC North Division for the GLIAC Tournament. The Lakers will host #4-seed Ferris State in the quarterfinals of the GLIAC Tournament on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 7:00 p.m. in the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena.

Grand Valley State and Ferris State have faced off twice this season with the home team winning each contest. The Lakers won the first meeting, 3-2 in Allendale on Oct. 11 and the Bulldogs defeated GVSU on Friday night, 3-0 in Big Rapids. Grand Valley State holds a 48-35 edge in the overall series.
