I play volleyball because... "It's my life and I love every second of it."
My goal for this season is to... "Win another national championship!"
My proudest accomplishment during my time at Grand Valley has been... "Winning a national championship and being MVP of the GLIAC Tournament."
When I leave Grand Valley I will miss... "All of the people I have gotten to know really well and have touched my life."
In 10 years I hope to be... "Working as an event manager at an arena and coaching a club volleyball team. I also hope to be married and have kids."
The people who have had the biggest influence on my life have been... "My mom and dad."
The best advice I have ever gotten was... "Believe in yourself"
If I played another sport it would be... "Softball, but I've also gotten pretty good at soccer."
My favorite sporting event to watch is... "Volleyball and NASCAR."
People might not believe that I... "Am right-handed but I play volleyball left-handed."

Head Coach Deanne Scanlon on Ashmore: "She was able, as a freshman, to physically do the things we needed from that position. She has continued to progress and mature and has become a great leader. The setter has to be a leader because they are touching the ball every play. Teammates need to have confidence in them and they need to know how to interact with the other players - how to give and take feedback."
