Allendale, Mich. - The Grand Valley State volleyball team will be holding tryouts on Sunday afternoon (Feb. 7) in the GVSU recreation center for the 2010 season. All interested players are welcome to try out on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. In 2009, the Lakers finished 16-13 and advanced to the NCAA Regional Tournament for the 10th straight season.

All athletes interested in trying out must have a copy of their physical exam that dates back no later than six months ago, due to a new NCAA policy. Players without a recent physical will not be allowed to participate. There will also be a small walking tour of campus for those trying out that will leave from the circle drive in front of the GVSU Fieldhouse at 12:45 p.m.
