Grand Valley State fell, 3-0 (30-27, 30-24, 30-16) to archrival Ferris State Sunday in the GLIAC Tournament Championship match. The Lakers fall to 26-6 on the season and will await to hear their opponents for the Great Lakes Regional Tournament.

Ferris State came out strong as they hit .389 to take a game one, 30-27. The Bulldogs took game two, 30-24, and swept the match with a game three, 30-16 win. The Lakers hit just .085 on the match, while Ferris State hit .266.

Junior Tina Tromblay tallied eight kills, 10 digs, and two assisted blocks, while freshman Alyson Riley recorded a team-high 11 digs. Senior Leah Kunz posted 12 assists and junior Michele Ehrlich added 15 assists.

Junior Tracy Kirk and junior Tina Tromblay were both named to the All-GLIAC Tournament Team.
