Allendale, Mich. - Grand Valley State claimed a 3-0 (30-22, 30-26, 30-22) win over Northwood Friday (Oct. 31) in GLIAC action at the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena. GVSU, which will host Saginaw Valley State Saturday (Nov. 1) at 4 p.m. in the regular season home finale, improves to 21-5 overall and 13-1 in GLIAC play.

Senior Sabrina Bird led the way with 14 kills and a .667 attack percentage. Stephanie Maciasz added nine kills and a .471 attack percentage, while Megan Helsen added eight kills and four service aces. Nicole Bayle tallied 29 assists. Defensively, freshman Molly Young recorded 13 digs and Nicole Bayle added 11. GVSU hit a sizzling .339 as a team with just 10 hitting errors in three games.
