Box Score

Grand Valley State picked up its ninth GLIAC win of the season by defeating South Division foe Gannon University, 3-0 Saturday. GVSU is now 16-4 overall and 9-1 in GLIAC action.

The Lakers were led by Sabrina Bird who tallied a career-high 21 kills and 32 total attacks for a .531 attack percentage. Tracy Kirk added 12 kills and five assisted blocks. Nicole Bayle recorded seven kills, 13 total attacks, 44 assists, four aces, 11 digs, and three assisted blocks. Molly Young led the team with 14 digs, Megan Helsen added 13 digs, and Melissa Reneski added 11 digs.

GVSU will travel to Hillsdale on Oct. 17 at 7:00 p.m. and to Wayne State on Oct. 18 at 4:00 p.m.
