Final Stats

Grand Valley State completed its three match road trip in the Upper Peninsula with a 3-0 (30-17, 30-23, 30-25) win over Michigan Tech Sunday. The Lakers improve to 13-3 overall and 5-0 in GLIAC action.

GVSU picked up a 30-17 win in game one behind its .414 attack percentage. The Lakers won game two 30-23 as they hit .462 and finished the sweep with a 30-25 victory in game three.

Grand Valley tallied an outstanding .394 attack percentage on the match. Senior Stephanie Maciasz-Dow recorded a team-high 14 kills and a .684 hitting percentage. Junior Tina Tromblay posted a .474 attack percentage with 10 kills, while junior Tracy Kirk added nine kills and a .500 hitting percentage. Junior Michele Ehrlich tallied 21 assists and senuir Leah Kunz added 18.

The Lakers have won nine straight matches and 27 out of their last 31 games.

GVSU will host Northwood on Friday, Oct. 1 at 7:00 p.m. and Saginaw Valley State on Saturday, Oct. 2 at 4:00 p.m. in two more GLIAC contests.
