Allendale, Mich. - Grand Valley earned a 3-2 (28-30, 24-30, 30-18, 30-23, 15-12) come from behind victory over Edinboro on Saturday at the Days Inn Classic in Allendale, Mich. It was the first five-game match of the season for the #8 Lakers who improve to 5-1 on the season.

Senior Carly Miller topped the Lakers with 21 kills and freshman Tracy Kirck added 18 kills with a .441 attack percentage. Traci Skrzypek tallied 12 kills and 16 digs, while Nicole Bayle recorded 62 assists. Chara Fehsenfeld led the defense with 23 digs and Katie Horvath added 15 digs.

The Lakers finish the tournament with a 5:30 pm match versus Southwest State in the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena.
