Box Score

#11 Grand Valley State picked up a win over Wisconsin-Parkside, 3-1. The Lakers won 30-13, 37-39, 30-28, 30-21. GVSU improves to 4-2 on the season and will play Alderson-Broaddus at 4 p.m. Saturday.

The Lakers got off to a good start winning game one, 30-13. Game two was a tight battle and Wisconsin-Parkside came up with a 39-37 victory. GVSU fought back and won games three and four, 30-28 and 30-21.

Tracy Kirk led the Lakers with 17 kills, 40 total attacks, and six digs. Sabrina Bird had an outstanding game for GVSU as she tallied 13 kills, 23 total attacks, 10 service aces, and seven digs. Stephanie Maciasz added 10 kills and 17 total attacks. Megan Helsen recorded a team-high 10 digs and added five kills and 25 total attacks. Nicole Bayle tallied a game-high 52 assists, five service aces, four digs, and five blocks.
