#10 Grand Valley State dropped a 3-0 (30-27, 30-26, 30-27) to #8 Truman State on Saturday at the Radisson Riverfront Classic held in the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena. The Lakers fall to 4-3 overall and will play South Dakota at 4:00 p.m. to conclude the tournament.

It was a close battle between the two ranked teams, but Truman State tallied a .238 attack percentage, while the Lakers hit just .162.

Junior Tracy Kirk tallied a team-high 11 kills, 26 attacks, four assisted blocks and led GVSU with a .346 attack percentage. Senior Leah Kunz recorded 29 assists and seven digs, while sophomore Molly Young posted a match-high 21 digs.
