2005: Played in 30 games and 17 matches as a freshman for the Lakers...Tallied nine kills, three service aces, 38 digs, and two assisted blocks on the season...Recorded a career-high three kills and 11 total attacks against West Virginia State in her first match for GVSU (8/26/05)...Posted a career-high 17 digs against Central Washington (9/2/05)...Came in and tallied a key ace and two digs as the Lakers defeated Nebraska-Kearney to claim the National Championship title (12/3/05).

High School: Prepped at Fruitport High School under head coach Dan Potts...Tallied 551 kills, 452 digs, and 182 service aces as a senior...Averaged 5.35 kills, 4.39 digs, 1.77 service aces, and a .326 hitting percentage her senior year...Named to WWA All-Conference three years in a row...Earned all-area first team, all-region, and first team all-state plaudits as a senior...Named 2005 Muskegon Chronicle Athlete of the Year and Detroit Free Press Scholar Athlete nominee...Team was conference, district, city, regional, quarterfinal, and semifinal champions three times...Team was state runner-ups her freshman and sophomore years and won the state championship her senior year...Also ran track and played basketball for four years...Holds both the 100 and 300 meter hurdle records at Fruitport...Member of National Honor Society, Student Council, and her church youth group.
