GVSU Totals 11 Blocks, Ebels and Schroeder Combine for 24 Kills

2011: Appeared in 26 matches as a true freshman, making 16 starts and playing in 93 sets...Led the team in kills (245), attacks (676), and points per set (2.96)...Finished fourth on GVSU in total blocks (36), seventh in digs (115), and eighth in service aces (11)...Recorded double-digit kills in a dozen matches, including a season-high 18 putaways in 3-1 victory at Ashland (10/7)...Added 17 kills in two other matches - versus Saginaw Valley State (9/30) and Lewis (10/15), both of which were five-set contests - and added a pair of aces in each match...Totaled season-high 18 digs to go with those 17 kills, two aces, two assists, and a block in Sept. 30 match against SVSU...Notched a double-double of 16 digs and 15 kills in four-set contest against Bellarmine (10/14) in GLIAC-GLVC Crossover Tournament...Supplied 13 kills and season-best six block assists in five-set battle at Northwood (11/6).

High School: Prepped at Onsted High School under head coach Rhonda Hubbard...Three-time letterwinner, Aiken helped the Wildcats win the Lenawee County Athletic Association championship during her senior season...Named team's most valuable player during sophomore, junior, and senior years, as well as being a co-captain twice...Earned all-conference honors all three years, including first team all-league plaudits in 2009 and 2010...Tabbed as a first team all-region selection twice, while also earning all-county laurels during all three years on the varsity team...Finished career with 1,431 kills, 222 total blocks, 839 digs and a three-year record of 92-33-19...Also competed in basketball for four years, while participating in Spirit Club for three years.
