Boston, Mass. - Krista O'Dell moved into the finals of the women's mile at the NCAA Division II National Championships in Boston, Mass. O'Dell crossed the finish line second in the afternoon prelims in a time of 4:57.05.

Freshman Jen O'Shesky finished 13th in the 60 meter hurdles, but did not advance to the finals. O'Shesky, competing in her first National Championship event, finished in a time of 9.48. In addition to O'Dell, Natalie Ewing (5000m) and Rachel Duthler (Pole Vault) will compete on Saturday for the Lakers.
