Sophomore Rachel Duthler recorded the Lakers highest finish at the NCAA Division II Track & Field National Championships in Abilene, Texas as she tied for third place in the pole vault. Duthler scored 5.5 points as she jumped 12-06.00. Freshman Morgan Acre posted a fourth place finish in the hammer throw, recording five points for the Lakers. Morgan tallied a throw of 181'11". Acre finished in eighth place in the discus on Thursday.

Senior Krista O'Dell tallied two points for the Lakers as she placed seventh in the 1,500 meter run with a time of 4:32.40. Sophomore Lauren Bader finished in 11th with, running the 1500 in 4:39.83.

Sophomore Jennifer O'Shesky placed eighth in the 400 meter hurdles. She tallied one point for the Lakers as she ran a 61.05. Freshman Karlie Singleton finished in ninth place in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 17:23.35.

The women's 4x400 relay team consisting of junior April Szatkowski, senior Kristen Kulczycki, sophomore Katie Mandziara, and sophomore Jennifer O'Shesky finished in ninth place with a time of 3:52.62.
 

 

The Lakers finished in 18th place overall with 16.50 points. Lincoln won the title with 108 points.
