Grand Valley State's women's track and field team had two athletes compete at the Sea Ray Relays held at the University of Tennessee. The meet is one of the largest track and field meets in the country with many NCAA DI teams represented.

The Lakers had senior Krista O'Dell run the 3,000 meter run and senior Jennette Seckinger compete in the 10,000 meter run. O'Dell tallied an eight place finish with a time of 9:51.98 and Seckinger took third place, recording a time of 37:01.98.
