Lakers finish 5th At NCAA Championships With 25.5 Points
 

 
 
 

 
Mandi Zemba earned All-America honors in the mile and the 5000.
 
 
Grand Valley State finished fifth at the NCAA DII Track & Field Indoor Championships with 25.5 points. The Lakers' fifth-place indoor finish is the best in school history.

Mandi Zemba earned added to her All-America honors as a Laker with third place finishes in the mile and 5000. Zemba crossed the finish line in 4:49.08 in the mile, while she finished the 5000 in 16:31.69. Rachel Duther earned All-America honors with a fourth-place finish in the pole vault (12-03.5). Lindsey Jones finished seventh in the pole vault (11-11.75) and Diana Noonan eighth (11-11.75). Morgan Acre finished sixth in the weight throw with a toss of 55-09.25.
