Lakers Set NCAA Qualifying Marks at Doug Raymond Invitational

Results

The Grand Valley State women's track & field team competed at the Doug Raymond Invitational at Kent State University this past weekend. The Lakers recorded four NCAA National Qualifying marks. Ashley Thomas qualified in the 400 meter dash with a time of 57.03 and a second place finish. Krista O'Dell tallied a 2:15.12, taking fifth in the 800 meter run and also placed first in the mile run (4:57.61). Natalie Ewing took third in the mile with a qualifying time of 5:02.88. The women's 4x400 relay finished in third, qualifying with a time of 3:54.19.

GVSU will compete at the Notre Dame Meyo Invite on Friday and the Saginaw Valley D2 Challenge on Saturday.
