2003-2004: Earned the Laker Scholastic Award for cross country....Ran a pr in the 5K at the Gina Relays in Hillsdale with a time of 18:21.
2002-2003: Ran a pr in the cross country 5K of 18:36 at the Loyola Lakefront Invitational in Chicago....Earned two more personal best times during the indoor track season with a 10:12 in the 3K and a 18:13 at the Smith Barney Invitational.
2001-2002: Was the Laker's third runner at the NCAA Cross Country Championship at Slippery Rock University....Ran a season pr of 23:06 in the 6K.
High School: Ran high school bests of 19:35 in cross country, 2:26 in the 800, 5:20 in the 1600, and 12:15 in the 3200.
Personal: Born April 5, 1982....Daughter of Robert and Nancy Martin....Married husband Chris Painter in the summer of 2004....in the School of Physical Therapy at Grand Valley.
