Track and Field Prepares for GVSU Laker Early Bird
First indoor meet of the season will see the distance runners highlighted
2011 Track: During the indoor season, she had nine top 10 finishes...Placed fifth at the GVSU Holiday Open with a 4.79 meter leap in the long jump...Finished fourth in the 60 meter dash at the SVSU vs GVSU Dual Meet with a time of 8.06 seconds and was third in the long jump with a leap of 4.94 meters...Part of the 4x400 relay team that finished second at the GVSU Big Meet with a time of 3:57.53...Won the 4x400 relay at the GVSU Tune Up with a time of 3:54.19 and finished sixth in the 60 meter dash with a time of 8.00 seconds...Finished fourth in the 200 meter dash at the GLIAC Indoor Championships with a time of 25.97 seconds...During the outdoor season, she finished below sixth only once all season...Part of 4x100 teams that won at the Ashland Alumni Open (47.00) and Aquinas Twilight (46.68)...Part of 4x400 relay teams that won at the MSU Spartan Invite (3:54.72), Purdue Dave Rankin Invite (3:58.09), ISU Pacesetter Invite (3:45.48) and the GLIAC Outdoor Championships (3:46.97)...Finished in second at GLIAC's with the 4x100 team in a time of 47.47 seconds...Finished third in the 400 meter run with a time of 57.36 seconds...Participated with the 4x400 team at the Division II Outdoor Championships and came in fourth with a time of 3:45.29 to be named an All-American.
2010 Track: Finished fifth in the 60 meter dash at the Grand Rapids Championships with a time of 8.32 seconds during the indoor season...During the outdoor season, sh e finished second in the 100 meter dash at the Grand Rapids Open with a time of 13.20 seconds and placed second in the long jump at the Aquinas Open with a distance of 5.09 meters...Finished ninth in the long jump at the GLIAC Outdoor Championships with a leap of 5.12 meters, a personal best.
