Three Lakers Earn GLIAC Postseason Awards

Grand Valley State's women's tennis team had three players earn GLIAC postseason awards. Senior Alison Koopsen earned All-GLIAC First Team honors, while freshman Lindsay Grimmer and sophomore Jenna Killips both were named to the All-GLIAC Second Team.

Koopsen went 13-4 in #1 singles matches this year, while she was 12-5 in doubles play. Koopsen was 8-1 in GLIAC singles matches and 6-3 in doubles action. Grimmer finished with a 6-3 record at #2 singles singles and a 4-5 record in doubles matches. Killips tallied a 5-3 GLIAC record at #3 singles and was 7-1 in doubles action.

The Lakers finished the fall season with a 10-4 overall and 7-2 GLIAC record. GVSU placed fourth in the GLIAC Tournament and tied for third place overall in the GLIAC.
