Junior Audrey Koopsen was named the GLIAC Player of the Week as she helped Grand Valley State to an 8-1 win over Saginaw Valley State last week. She picked up a 6-1, 6-3 win over Danielle Coldren at #2 singles.

Koopsen then teammed up with McCall Monte to knock of Katie Hanover and Sarah Campian, 8-3, in #1 doubles action. Audrey is currently 9-3 in singles play and has tallied an 8-5 record with Monte in doubles action.

Grand Valley State is 7-1 overall and 6-1 in the GLIAC. The Lakers will play host to Wayne State this Friday in Allendale at 3:30 pm and are right back at it on Saturday with a match against Findlay, also in Allendale. That match is scheduled for 10:00 am.
