Grand Valley State had no problem defeating Ashland University, 9-0. The Lakers are now 6-4 overall and 5-4 in GLIAC play. Grand Valley State will conclude GLIAC and regular season play on Friday at Saginaw Valley State.

Marie Camerson won at #1 singles, 6-0, 6-1, Nikki Fairchild picked up a win at #2 singles, 6-0, 6-1, and Alison Koopsen won, 6-1, 6-1 at #3 singles. Kim VanSprange continued the success at #4 singles, 6-1, 6-1, while Laura Sukup won at #5 singles, 6-1, 6-0. Zanobia Syed rounded out the singles matches by winning, 6-2, 6-1.

In doubles action, Cameron and Sukup won, 8-2, at the #1 seed, while Fairchild and Koopsen won #2 singles, 8-5. VanSprange and Pallet defeated their opponents, 8-2 at #3 doubles.
