Grand Valley State's women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision against Ferris State on Sunday. The Lakers fall to 7-3 overall and 6-3in GLIAC action, while the Bulldogs improve to 9-1 overall and in the GLIAC. GVSU will host Saginaw Valley on Saturday, Oct. 16 at 11:30 a.m.

The Lakers were up 2-1 as they won two out of three doubles matches, but FSU came back to win five of the six singles matches to pick up the win. Alison Koopsen and Emily Zellner teammed up for a 8-5 win at #1 doubles, while Natalie Pallett and Jenna Killips won 8-2 at #3 doubles. Koopsen was the lone Laker to pick up a win in singles action.
