Grand Valley State's women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to Northwood in Allendale Tuesday. The Lakers fall to 5-2 overall and 4-2 in GLIAC action. GVSU will host Mercyhurst on Friday, Oct. 1 at 3:00 p.m. and Ashland on Saturday, Oct. 2 at 10:00 a.m.
Natalie Pallett picked up the Lakers lone win in singles action. Pallet won a 6-1, 6-0 decision in the #6 singles slot. Pallett teammed up with Jenna Killips to record the other GVSU win (9-7) at #3 doubles.
