Allendale, Mich. - GVSU won their fourth straight GLIAC match as they defeated LSSU 6-3 on Friday in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. The Lakers swept the doubles and won the first three singles matches to earn the win. The Lakers have not dropped a match since the opener vs. Ferris State and are 4-1 on the season.

Marie Cameron and Kellen Lynch remained perfect at #2 doubles with an 8-2 victory, while Nikki Fairchild and Laura Sukup won 8-3 at #1 doubles. Cameron and Fairchild each earned two set victories at #1 and #2 singles, respectively. Alison Koopsen earned the other singles win at #3.

GVSU will play at Nothern Michigan on Sunday at 10:00 am to finish the U.P. road trip.
