Allendale, Mich. - GVSU rolled past GRCC 9-0 in exhibition play on Monday in Allendale, Mich. The Lakers did not drop a set and were not tested in any of the matches. Freshman Alison Koopsen was impressive with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at #2 singles and also teamed up with Kim VanSprange for an 8-1 victory at #2 doubles.

The Lakers will resume GLIAC play this weekend as they head to the U.P. On Friday (Sept. 20) they travel to Lake Superior State for a 2:00 pm match, then head to Michigan Tech on Saturday (Sept. 21) at 10:00 am before heading to Nothern Michigan for a 10:00 am match on Sunday (Sept. 22). The Lakers are 3-1 on the 2002 season.
