Grand Valley State picked up a 7-2 win over Lake Superior State Saturday morning, improving to a perfect 4-0 record on the season. The match ended GVSU's four match home stint. The Lakers will travel to Midland, Mich. for the ITA Regional Tournament Sept. 16-18.

Grand Valley State won two out of three doubles matches and then won five of the six in singles action to talied the 7-2 win. Alison Koopsen and Emily Zellner teammed up for an 8-5 win at #1 doubles, while Jenna Killips and Audrey Koopsen won 8-1 at #3 doubles. Lindsay Grimmer and Jaime Oppenlander dropped an 8-1 decision at #2 doubles.

Alison Koopsen won her fourth straight match (6-3, 6-1) at #1 singles and Lindsay Grimmer defeated her opponent, 2-6, 6-2, 6-3 at #2 singles. Jenna Killips fell, 6-1, 6-0 at #3 singles, but Emily Zeller picked up a 6-3, 7-5 win in the #4 singles slot. Sarah Schweickart won 6-4, 7-5 at #5 singles and Audrey Koopsen picked up a 6-0, 6-3 in the #6 single slot.
