Results

Grand Valley State completed day two of the DePauw Invitational in Greencastle, Ind. on Sunday. On the second day, the Lakers won three of six singles flights and two of three doubles flights. During the two days, GVSU went 15-3 in singles play and 8-1 in doubles action.

Grand Valley will play in the ITA Regional Championship in Indianapolis, Ind. on Sept. 14-16.

The following are results from Sunday's action:
1st singles:
Jenna Killips (GV) beat Emily Kerrick (GC) 7-6(4), 6-3

2nd Singles:
Audrey Koopsen (GV) beat Britta Oliver (SE) 6-3, 6-0

3rd Singles:
Chelsea Johnston (GV) beat Kayla Smith (DP) 6-3, 6-3

4th Singles:
Katelyn Grashorn (GV) beat Zandri Strauss (DP) 6-3, 6-3

5th Singles:
Darylann Trout (GV) lost to Erin Weldon (UDM) 7-6(5), 6-0

6th Singles:
Jackie Shipman (GV) beat Lizzy Whitlatch (DP) 6-1, 6-2

1st Doubles:
Audrey Koopsen/McCall Monte (GV) lost to Annie Moore/Zeljka Minic (UDM) 7-5, 6-4

2nd Doubles:
Jenna Killips/Emily Zellner (GV) beat Erin Weldon/Aneta Maricevic(UDM) 6-3, 6-3

3rd Doubles:
Chelsea Johnston/Darylann Trout (GV) beat Znadri Strauss/Tricia Wilks (DP) 6-1, 6-2
