SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Grand Valley State's season ended with a 5-3 loss to Rockhurst in the first round of the NCAA Division II Women's Tennis Championships on Friday. The Lakers earned one doubles point and two singles points in the loss.

Darylann Trout and Chelsea Johnston teamed up for GVSU's lone doubles point, earning an 8-3 victory at second doubles. Trout also won at fourth singles, 6-2, 6-2, while Jaime Oppenlander posted a 6-1, 6-2 win at sixth singles.
