Results

Allendale, Mich. - Grand Valley State cruised to a 9-0 victory over Aquinas College on Thursday at the Laker tennis courts. It is the fourth straight win and improves their record in the spring to 8-1. The Lakers finish the 2002-03 regular season with a 19-4 overall record. GVSU will next play in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Tournament on May 2-4. GVSU is currently ranked #27 in the country and #3 in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional poll.

Nikki Fairchild and Laura Sukup earned an 8-6 victory at #1 doubles, while Marie Cameron and Kellen Lynch 8-2 at #2. The Lakers duo of Kim VanSprange and Alison Koopsen won their doubles contest 8-4 in the final position and all six earned straight set wins in singles action.
