Results

Allendale, Mich. - Grand Valley State won a key regional matchup 6-3 over Indianapolis on Saturday in Allendale. The Lakers are ranked #3 in the Great Lakes Region and #27 in the country in the latest ITA DII poll, while Indianapolis was ranked fifth in the region. The Lakers won four of the singles matches and two double matchups on their way to victory. Grand Valley improves to 15-3 on the season.

Alison Koopsen won two matches for GVSU with a 7-5, 6-3 victory at #3 singles and an 8-6 win at #2 doubles with Marie Cameron. Nikki Fairchild was a straight set winner at #2 doubles to improve to 15-3 in dual matches this year. Laura Sukup and Zanobia Syed won at #5 and #6 singles, respectively. Syed and Kim VanSprange earned the last victory with an 8-5 win at #3 doubles.
