Allendale, Mich. - Senior designated player Elizabeth Smith earned ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District IV honors for her commitment on the field and in the classroom this season. Smith, a special education major, batted .411 with 38 RBI, both team highs.

To be eligible for the honors, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore and register at least a 3.20 grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale) while playing an important role on the team.
