Grand Valley State was selected as the #8 seed for Great Lakes Region Tournament with a 34-19 overall record. The Lakers will play host school and #1 seed Southern Illinois University Edwardsville on Thursday, May 11 with a time to be determined.

GVSU won six out of seven games in the GLIAC Tournament in Midland over the weekend to claim the GLIAC Tournament title. Grand Valley beat Wayne State in two championship games on Saturday to win the crown.
