Grand Valley State had six players named to the 2006 All-GLIAC Softball Team for their outstanding play this season. GVSU finished in fifth place in the GLIAC regular season with a 12-8 record.

Sophomore second baseman Kristin Moleski earned All-GLIAC First Team honors. Junior first baseman Crista Buresh, senior third baseman Denise Ireton, and sophomore pitcher Stephanie Cole were all named to the All-GLIAC Second Team. Senior catcher Megan Smith and senior center fielder Tara Marsh were All-GLIAC Honorable Mention selections.
