Allendale, Mich. - Sunday's GLIAC doubleheader between Grand Valley State and Saginaw Valley State was cancelled due to the weather. It is unclear if the twinbill will be re-scheduled before next weekend's GLIAC Tournament.

The teams started game one and made it to the top of the third inning, where SVSU led 9-0, when play was halted because of rainy conditions moving through the area. Prior to the start of game one, the four seniors on this year's team were honored. Lori Andjelich, Becky Rudenga, Karen Walters, and Nichole Woityra were all escorted by their parents onto the field, where they met with head coach Doug Woods and GVSU Director of Athletics, Tim Selgo.

Saturday's twinbill against Wayne State was also postponed due to rain. Again, it is unclear whether either doubleheader will be re-scheduled. The GLIAC Tournament will be played next weekend (May 1-3) in Midland, Mich.
