Grand Valley picked up a 3-0 victory over Wingate University Tuesday. The Lakers improve to 6-1 on the season.
Jennifer Mackson pitched all seven innings for GVSU, allowing only three hits, while striking out eight. She improves her record to 4-0.
Shortstop Kerri Jonas and 1B Sara Vroegindewey each went 2-for-3 to lead the Lakers. Freshman Miranda Titler went 1-for-1 and drove in a run for GVSU.
Grand Valley will play Regis College at 6:00 p.m.
