2003: Earned NFCA First Team All-Region honors...Named to All-GLIAC First Team...Started in all 55 games for the Lakers at first base...Was third on the team with a .325 batting average...Was second on the team with 34 RBI and 10 doubles...Led the GLIAC with five triples...Recorded four home runs, 14 walks, and seven sacrifice hits...Tallied multiple hits in 14 games...Went 5-for-6 with six RBI, three doubles, and two runs scored in a doubleheader against Kentucky Wesleyan (3/15)...Was 3-for-3 with a double against Bellarmine (4/12)...Went 5-for-6 with four RBI, a double, triple, and a home run in a GLIAC doubleheader against Lake Superior State (4/15)...Was 2-for-3 with a two-run home run to give the Lakers a 3-2 win in eight innings over Saginaw Valley State (4/16)...Went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run to help Grand Valley to a 4-0 victory over Northern Kentucky in the first game of the Great Lakes Regional Tournament.
2002: Started in all 62 games for the Lakers...Tallied 48 hits in 185 at bats...Recorded a .259 batting average...Complied 24 runs, eight doubles, two triples, and two homeruns...Also added 22 RBI, 15 walks, and 14 sacrifice hits...Was 6-for-8 in stolen base attempts...Named to All-GLIAC Honorable Mention team...Went 3-for-4 with two doubles, five RBI, and a run against Olivet College (3/20/02)...Went 2-for-4 with a double, RBI, and a run scored in a 5-0 win over Mercyhurst (4/13/02).
2001: Played and started in 49 games...Batted .279, with four doubles, a triple, and 19 RBIs...Added 12 walks and five stolen bases...Went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored in a conference match-up against Findlay (3/31)...Also went 3-for-4 with three RBIs at Calvin.
High School: Prepped at Portage Central High School...Played for Tom Monroe...Played as a catcher freshman year and switched to shortstop for her remaining three years...Named to the All-District team four times...Earned All-Conference Honorable Mention honors sophomore season...Received All-State Honorable Mention plaudits as a junior and senior...Team Co-MVP as a junior and MVP as a senior...Team Captain senior season...Also played basketball for four years...Belonged to youth group at Southridge Reformed Church, which did volunteer work at Workcamps in West Virginia, Kentucky, and Wisconsin.
