2012: Earned Daktronics Third Team All-America honors...Also tabbed as a Daktronics First Team All-Midwest Region selection, one of only three pitchers named to the all-region squad...Honored on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Midwest Region Second Team...Named to the All-GLIAC First Team, one of just two pitchers to make the conference's top team...Led all GLIAC pitchers in shutouts (seven), complete games (26), and opponents batting average (.207)...Also ranked second in the GLIAC in wins (24), third in ERA (1.90) and innings pitched (202.2), and fourth in strikeouts (153) and starts (34)...Named GLIAC Pitcher of the Week on Apr. 9...Finished year with a 24-6 overall record, a 1.90 ERA, seven shutouts and 153 strikeouts in 202.2 innings pitched...Appeared in 34 games, making 31 starts, and tossing 26 complete games...Ranks in GVSU single-season history: tied for fifth in wins, eighth in complete games and innings pitched, and ninth in strikeouts...Won seven consecutive decisions from Apr. 4 to Apr. 18...Tossed back-to-back complete game shutouts on consecutive days against Saginaw Valley State (4/6-7), throwing five-inning two-hitter and seven-inning three-hitter...Owned 24.1 inning scoreless streak from Apr. 13 to Apr. 18, including nine-inning shutout in 1-0 win over Ashland (4/14) and six-inning four-hitter over Lake Erie (4/15)...Gave up one hit on one run in seven innings of a 4-1 victory at Tiffin (3/23)...Allowed just one hit over five innings of 10-0 win against New Haven (3/10)...Struck out at least five batters in 16 appearances and allowed two or fewer runs in 19 outings.
2011: Ranked ninth in the GLIAC in opposing batting average (.281) and 10th in the league with 11 wins in the circle, while giving up a conference-low two home runs in 96.2 innings...Finished the year with an 11-3 record, one save, and a 3.04 ERA...Allowed 108 hits and 63 runs (42 earned), while striking out 72 batters and walking just 49 hitters...Made 27 appearances, second-most on the team, started 14 times, and tossed six complete games...Also scored two runs throughout the season as a pinch-runner for the Lakers...Earned a win in her first collegiate outing, a 1-0 win over Millersville (3/6), allowing no runs and four hits in five innings, while striking out four batters...Struck out eight batters and gave up just five hits in a complete game performance of a 6-4 win over Molloy (3/12)...Recorded season-high nine strikeouts in a 5-4 win at Lake Erie (3/27), giving up four runs (three earned) in seven innings in the circle...Tossed best outing of the season in NCAA Midwest Regional 1 Tournament against Lewis (5/14), throwing 4.1 innings of scoreless relief and allowing just two hits, while earning the win in an 8-3 victory over Flyers.
High School: Prepped at Glenbard North High School in Carol Stream, Ill. under head coach Josh Sanew and most recently attended Kankakee Community College, in Kankakee, Ill., playing for head coach Dennis Clark...Earned all-conference honors during all four seasons (including being named Dupage Valley Conference most valuable player as a senior) and was a three-year member of the all-area team...Voted team most valuable player twice, while also garnering all-state plaudits two seasons...Finished her stellar pitching career at Glenbard North with an 80-18 career record and 884 strikeouts...Best season on the rubber was her sophomore season, when she was 26-1 with a 0.42 earned run average and 232 strikeouts...Went 21-6 with 227 strikeouts and an 0.57 ERA as a senior...Also was 19-4 with a career-high 241 K's and a 0.19 ERA as a freshman and 14-7 with a 0.89 earned run average and struck out 184 batters during her junior year...Won four regional titles and three conference championships, while advancing to the sectional finals once.
